The top Summer 2012 fashion trends for women include bright neons, vivid lip colors, statement making necklaces, dip dye hair looks, sheer pieces and much more. These fashion trends are chic, bold and extremely wearable.
Neon is back in a big way, ladies, but it's not the 80s affair you remember. In fact, it's totally fresh and sophisticated, and we've got three ways to wear it without looking like a total trend victim...
Go monochrome: We were loving the body-con neon dresses at Cushnie et Ochs, but what's even chicer is how they were styled. Double the fun factor on your neon hues by adding matching shoes (it'll also make the look seem much more polished)
Add a touch to something tailored: The runway at Nanette Lepore
as a fluorescent explosion, but it was the more subtle strokes that
really caught our eye. Wearing neon with skinny jeans and sneakers is
too 80s and literal-looking, but putting a pop with a tailored suit or
blazer is just the thing. 
Go ladylike everywhere else: Jason Wu had the right idea with this strong skirt- let it be the focus, and keep the rest of your look super-elegant. Simple black and white complements with very feminine details will do the trick.
But as expected, Neon - fever isn't stopping here! Eventually bright bold colours conquered the make up world too!!
Sure, it’s loud and bright, and a little scary, but it’s also super poppy, in an ode to an Andy Warhol-esque style of life. To embrace this trend, you have to have an open mind, let yourself go and remember that a little goes a long way.
To show off neon colours on your eyes, try adding a bit of bright pink / orange / yellow / green / blue liner above a slick, black line. For extra drama, consider a thicker line of neon colour on the bottom lashes. You can play it up or down, depending on how daring a look you’re ready to rock.
